Storage and centres

How long can I store for?

We’ll look after your belongings for as long as you need. The longer you store, the better value it is and you can also earn free returns. Call us to find out more.

How do I earn free returns?

For every box you store with Caboodle, each month, you receive a ‘point’… when you have ‘earned’ 20 points, you can exchange it for a free return – this is our way to say thanks for allowing us to store your belongings safe and sound. Call us to find out more.

Where are my boxes stored?

Your boxes are stored in our state-of-the-art storage centres.

Who has access to my belongings?

Your boxes and carriers are locked and sealed and our carriers and packs are tamper-evident. We trust our lovely Caboodle staff, but we do have security cameras in place for extra good measure and our centre management system makes your box anonymous so that no-one who works in our centres can ever see what’s in each box on the shelves.

How do I keep track of my belongings?

From your account page on our website you can see all of your boxes your contents list and your photo-cataloguing of what’s inside each box to keep you feeling nice and organised.

What can I store?

If you wouldn’t take it on a plane, please don’t put it in a box. We won’t take anything alive, illegal, highly flammable or likely to go off. So, no food products unless tinned.

Liquids such as wine or perfume are fine, but please make sure they’re well sealed. Our carriers are water-resistant, but your other belongings aren’t.

What happens if a prohibited item is found in my box?

If we have reason to believe your box held a prohibited item then we would remove the box to our designated safe zone and contact you. Any opening would occur under controlled conditions and would be recorded for our mutual protection.

Can I store large furniture?

Yes, we store oversized items and suitcases, so call us and we will see what we can do to help.

Can I store sharp objects?

Yes. The box is there to protect us, you and your belongings.
